We’ve labored long
To the rhythm of a slave driver’s drum
Held captive by
The weight of everything we’ve done wrong
Then the darkness gives way to the golden sunrise
The chosen year arrives
This is our Jubilee
The truth has set us free
Release the prison gates
It’s time to celebrate
This is our Jubilee
Unite the family
Proclaim the Liberty
We count the cost
Our family and inheritance lost
Still bound by fear
Believing in the lie
Hope was gone
But then at last
We heard a mighty trumpet sound
Our chains fell to the ground
Blow the trumpet loud (repeat)
Let the nation see (repeat)
Those who were bound (repeat)
Were bound to be free (repeat)
Do you hear the sound (repeat)
Of our people sing? (repeat)
My chains are gone (repeat)
Now I’m free indeed (Now—I’m—Free)
Credits & Thank-You’s
Our Friends & Family: There would never be enough room to thank everyone who has played a part in our lives and music. The outpouring of support from God’s children, over the years has given us the strength to keep going. Thank you for listening to our songs and for the wonderful testimonies you have shared. You are the reason we continue to ask the Lord for fresh inspiration from the throne. Looking forward to Heaven, where we can all be together for one long celebration of Jubilee.
Our Parents: Without Mom & Pop LaFontaine, not only would we not be here, but we would not have been raised to believe that serving God and serving others is the best way to live! You lived a life of sacrifice, making it look so fun that we all joined it, becoming just like you in many ways. Thanks for the strong foundation of faith and the love you have built our home on.
Our Musical Heroes: Bill Gaither, Lanny Wolfe, Hinsons, Happy Goodmans, Isaacs, Nelons, Hemphills, Rambos and the Winans.
A special Thank-you to our church family, Literal Life Church who showed up for rehearsals and the concerts to serve and support. Your love and encouragement is what gives us wings to do more for God’s Kingdom.

Leviticus 25: 9-10
(9)..… in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land. (10) And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
50 years. How could it be? It seems like just yesterday, we were out on the road traveling full-time, in our beloved 1959 Chevy. Suffice it to say, the years have flown by so fast. So many friendships made and lives changed, including our own. God has done so much more than we ever expected. It has been a wonderful ride that the Lord has taken us on and we feel truly blessed!
This Jubilee project is a testimony of God’s unconditional love and perpetual grace in our lives. This ministry of music is a great example of how God can take ordinary, imperfect people and use their gifts to bless others, all over the world.
These songs have stemmed from great victories, but more often the trials we’ve come through, only showing us how big God is.
